JOHN HOWIE SERVES UP HIS BEST AT SUA

Thanks to a connection through SPIRIT 105.3, John Howie—founder of five local restaurants—has been bringing meals to the students of Seattle Urban Academy since 2010. Howie prepares meals, off one of his menus, multiple times thoughout each school year.

Howie enjoys his lunches with the students. "The whole point is to do something special for these kids. They might not have too many special things in their lives; I know I didn't as a teen."
