CRISTA CELEBRATES POWERFUL 2012 PRAYER Week
CRISTA committed the first week of January as Prayer Week to lift up and entrust CRISTA ministries to God as we start a new calendar year and pray boldly and specifically about how God will use us through our ministries to bring glory and honor to Him.
The theme verse for this year is Colossians 3: 1-3.
If then you are raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
Prayer Week included:
- Devotion on prayers by President & CEO, Bob Lonac
- All night Fast & Pray led by Fred Van Gorkom, Regional Director for Africa
- Individual or Ministry devotion/prayer times
- Prayer Walk led by Wonda Sullivan, Recruiting Officer, CRISTA HR

- “I felt the presence of God during my prayer walk with another staff member around the campus. I felt God's reassurance that He has great plans for each of our ministries and CRISTA as a whole.”
- “The opportunity to pray together in a random group at these prayer walks provided me a chance to intermingle and get to know other staff members on a more personal and spiritual level.”
