CRISTA is a family of six unique ministries in pursuit of one goal—to serve the needs of the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Headquartered in Shoreline, Washington, we minister in the Puget Sound region, the Pacific Northwest, and the most remote areas of the world. In obedience to The Great Commission, we follow where Christ leads to bring His kingdom to earth. It is our privilege to serve Him and to show His love in all we do.

King’s Schools is the realization of the vision Mike Martin had when he started CRISTA 70 years ago. The school opened in 1950, one year after Mike and Vivian Martin acquired our campus. Their goal was to inspire hearts and equip minds to serve God for His glory. King’s Schools has provided an exemplary Christian education in a spiritually vital, caring community for thousands of students. Its mission is achieved on the foundation of four abiding principles: academic excellence, Christian commitment, caring community, and a rich heritage. Today, King’s Schools serves more than 1,200 students preschool through high school each year.

CRISTA Camps grew out of the desire to serve young people. Miracle Ranch and Island Lake—like everything else connected to CRISTA—are a miracle of God’s provision. The Camps provide memorable experiences where children and adults encounter Christ and lives are changed. With two unique properties at Island Lake and Miracle Ranch, each award-winning camp welcomes more than 26,494 guests a year with a one-of-a-kind experience, connecting them with our Creator through nature, fellowship, and fun activities like swimming, archery, paintball, horses, dirt bikes and high ropes adventures.

CRISTA Senior Living was formed in 1950 to serve the elderly with Christ’s love. Part of the agreement that allowed Mike Martin to lease the property of the former Firland Sanitorium was that he created a community for the elderly. CRISTA has been serving this precious group of people in the later years of life ever since. Our seniors enjoy intergenerational community as they interact with the staff of our ministries and the students at King’s. Senior Living staff provide compassionate and professional care annually for more than 1,658 seniors at two locations—Cristwood in Shoreline and Crista Shores in Silverdale which was opened in 1994.

World Concern joined CRISTA Ministries in 1970. Our mission through sustainable global development is to bring the gospel to the remotest regions of the world by equipping and empowering people to transform their own lives and communities. We have served more than 7,193,339 people in over 15 countries in response to disasters and through community development that brings physical and spiritual transformation.

CRISTA Media began in 1954 when Mike Martin’s radio program on a local station was canceled. God used that to begin a ministry through media that has grown to reach listeners 24/7 with the gospel. We reach 1.5 million dedicated listeners through major market radio stations and digital platforms—SPIRIT 105.3, PRAISE 106.5, and KCIS 630. Our stations bring hope and encouragement throughout the Pacific Northwest, Southern British Columbia, and around the world every day.
